Terms and conditions of booking – V2.1 (July ’25)
The Terms and Conditions set out below constitute the legal agreement between you and CRX Safety training and consultancy Limited (CRX Training) relating to the provision of training courses. When you make a booking with CRX Training, you agree to our payment terms below – we do not accept any other payment terms.
Within these terms:
- We refer to CRX Training CRX, We, Us, Our etc
- We refer to the person placing the booking as the client
- We refer to the person attending/accessing the training as the delegate
- When we refer to in-house training, this is training delivered exclusively to your organisation rather than a public presentation
- Acceptance of bookings
- Our website guides you through the booking process. All details can be reviewed before completing the booking, so please take the time to read and check the details at each stage.
- All bookings are subject to availability, and we have the right to reject a booking. If we do not accept your booking, we will inform you by email as soon as possible.
- Once a booking has been made for a public course (either via our website, phone or email), you will receive an automatic email confirming that we have received the booking request.
- If you have not received a booking confirmation and invoice within 24 hours (Monday to Friday) of your booking, please email hello@crxtraining.co.uk or call 03301 335 436.
- Bookings are only confirmed as per payments and invoices in section 2 below.
- Learners are expected to meet their responsibilities under our learner agreement.
- Payment & invoices
- Payment for a public course (classroom, live online and eLearning) is required before the start of the course.
- Payment can be made by credit/debit card, PayPal or bank transfer (BACS, CHAPS, faster payment).
- We reserve the right to refuse entry to a presentation if the course fee is not paid before the date of the course.
- In-house courses will not be booked and confirmed without receipt of a valid purchase order. A final invoice will be issued after the final day of the course.
- Invoices are issued on net 30-day terms.
- We reserve the right to request payment at the time of booking.
- Other than in-house courses all prices quoted are the fee per person.
- Clients and delegates are not permitted to share room links or logins with others.
- Where additional fees are chargeable for course assessment (e.g. NEBOSH courses), full payment must be received by CRX prior to delegates being booked onto assessments.
- Cancellations, transfers and deferments
- If a delegate can no longer attend a course date, they can freely nominate another person to attend the same course date in their place. This must be confirmed by email to: hello@crxtraining.co.uk confirming the details of original and replacement delegate.
- All cancellation requests must be made in writing by email to hello@crxtraining.co.uk prior to the course date.
- Where a booking is cancelled by the client, CRX reserve the right to apply the below charges.

- Where possible CRX will allow delegates to transfer to the next available course of the same type.
- When we agree to transfer a booking to another course date, payment is due by the date of the original course or the transferred course date – whichever is earlier.
Deferment of assessments (e.g. NEBOSH course)
If a delegate needs to defer an assessment booking, they must inform us in writing, as soon as possible by email to: hello@crxtraining.co.uk. The charges for deferred assessment are shown in the table below:

- We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule a course after acceptance of a booking. Any such changes will be notified to the client as soon as possible and alternative options will be offered. Where a suitable alternative is not offered, we will reimburse any course fees paid in full. Our liability will be limited to the value of the course fees paid.
- Refunds for eLearning courses can only be made within 14 days of purchase.
- Refunds for eLearning courses cannot be made if the course materials have been accessed.
- eLearning course deferment. CRX does not charge any additional fees to extend access to eLearning course materials. However additional fees from awarding or approving bodies will be recharged to the client at cost.
- IOSH – Six months registration – reregistration – £45+VAT
- Classroom course terms
- Joining instructions, are provided ten working days before the course date. If you have not received them at this point, please email hello@crxtraining.co.uk or call 03301 335 436
- The joining instructions are sent to the client, who should then distribute them to delegates.
- CRX are not responsible for any non-attendances as a result of not receiving joining instructions and course details – it is the client and delegate’s responsibility to ensure they have received all communications and instructions.
- Joining instructions, are provided ten working days before the course date. If you have not received them at this point, please email hello@crxtraining.co.uk or call 03301 335 436
- Live Online course terms
- Delegates and clients are sent login details approximately ten working days before the course date. This includes full joining instructions – how to access the training, a link to the training room and where applicable access to course documentation.
- CRX are not responsible for any non-attendances as a result of not receiving login details – it is the client and delegate’s responsibility to ensure they have received all communications as outlined above.
- Our online courses currently utilise Zoom, although we reserve the right to use any other suitable video conferencing software or app (e.g. TEAMS, Google Meet).
- CRX are not responsible for any hardware or software issues which result in a delegate not being able to access the training room e.g. firewalls or IT security policies.
- The price featured for online courses is the fee per person. Clients and delegates are not permitted to share room links and if a delegate logs in without a booking, they will be removed from the room or invoiced for the place.
- eLearning course terms
- All fees must be paid in full before gaining access to any eLearning course.
- The price featured for eLearning courses is the fee per person. Clients and delegates are not permitted to share login details with others.
- Refunds for eLearning courses can only be made within 14 days of purchase. As long as the course has NOT been accessed. To be clear, refunds are not given once an eLearning course has been accessed.
- CRX are not responsible for any hardware or software issues which result in a delegate not being able to access our learning management systems (LMS) e.g. firewalls or IT security policies.
- eLearning course deferment. CRX does not charge any additional fees to extend access to eLearning course materials. However additional fees from awarding or approving bodies will be recharged to the client at cost.
- In-house course terms
- In-house courses will be invoiced as per sections 2.4, 2.4.1, 2.4.2.
- The client is responsible for providing a suitable training room with:
- Enough room for all delegates and the trainer.
- adequate lighting
- adequate heating and ventilation
- Suitable tables and chairs (with back rests)
- access to suitable welfare facilities.
- The client must ensure that the trainer is adequately briefed on any site rules and emergency procedures.
- The client must return CRX’s technical information questionnaire no less than 14 days before the beginning of the course start date.
- The client must ensure that all technical equipment stated as per 7.4 is in good working order.
- Failure to provide adequate facilities and/or resources as set out across section 7.2 and 7.4 may result in course cancellation with fee as charged as per 7.6.x
- If the client chooses to cancel an in-house course, or a client fails to provide adequate facilities and/or resources as set out across section 7.2 and 7.4 the charges laid out in section 7.7 will be payable.

- Course materials and information
- All course materials are the copyright of either CRX or the relevant accrediting/ approving body (e.g. IOSH or NEBOSH). Any course materials provided to delegates must not be copied or distributed to any other party without prior written permission.
- We make every effort to ensure accuracy within our courses and printed materials. CRX and our course presenters cannot accept any responsibility for errors contained within these materials – this includes course documentation, slides and brochures.
- Information and guidance provided both during and after a course is based on best available information at the time of communication and does not constitute professional advice. CRX do not take responsibility should you or your organisation act, or refrain to act, on any information provided during or after our courses. We always recommend taking professional advice if you are uncertain.
- Personal data
- CRX monitors all website traffic but only to enable us to provide a functional website for our clients. We do not collect user details unless this is submitted by the user. We do not share that information with outside sources, and we ensure this is kept confidential.
- Any personal data supplied by the client can be processed by CRX on the legal basis and for the purposes set out in the Privacy Policy, which is freely available on the CRX training website.
- NEBOSH Terms and Conditions
The NEBOSH Learner Terms and Conditions outline the obligations and responsibilities of learners when enrolling and participating in NEBOSH courses and assessments.
Learner agreement
CRX will:
- Support you until you have successfully completed your qualification.
- Use suitably qualified and experienced tutors to deliver the training
- Use update to clear learning materials
- Cover all the specification learning outcomes
- Provide or direct you to the information you need to pass the qualification
- Provide you with expert advice on revision and examination technique
- Respond in a timely manner to any queries
- Be diligent and courteous at all times
You must:
- Attend all scheduled sessions / complete all eLearning elements
- Contribute to group discussions in a positive manner
- Endeavour to be active, rather than passive in terms of learning
- Complete the required number of revision hours
- Pay particular attention to advice regarding revision and examination technique
- Bring any learning difficulties to our attention at the earliest opportunity
